Great food and service

Staff are very nice, food is fresh and tasty, ambiance is quaint. It can get hectic during lunch and dinner, but if you're okay with eating later, the service is much better. And if you get a chance, sit at the sushi bar and get Mike (the chef) to pick some dishes for you.

Disgusting service. My party of 10 had reservations for 12 noon. As we were a large group we pre-ordered. Three of us were at the restaurant by noon. The others were 5-10 minutes late. The waiter starting bring out all our orders at 12noon even though seven people had not arrived at the restaurant. I asked that he keep all the food in the kitchen and not serve our meals until everyone arrived. He said it didn't make any difference whether the food sat on our tables or in the kitchen it would still get cold. He also added that he didn't have room in the kitchen and because our reservations were for 12noon we should expect the restaurant to have our food prepared and served at this time. As they were so focused on putting all our orders on the table before everyone arrived, they neglected to fill our water glasses and did not do so until we requested - which by that time I had already drank my miso soup to satisfy my thirst.

This is the best sushi I've had anywhere. Highly recommended, but expect to wait for a table if you go during prime time.
